Hi there

I was searching for any reference to GEEIA when I found your web-site. Its nice to know what happened to
GEEIA. I was at Norton from 1965-1967 in the radar section. Would like to hear from anybody that was there
to swap lies and find out what happened to people I knew. Thanks,

Re: Hi there

I was in the 2869th from 1966 to 1968. Married my wife at the base chapel. Then was assigned to Wheeler AFB Hawaii. I was a 36251 Telephone Inside Plant. Would like to know if Pruitt, Halverson, or Konick are still around?

Re: Hi there

HI,
I was at Norton from July 65 through Nov 69.
I was in the cable splicing section, and I am still in San Bernardino.
I left here in 69, went to the Philippines, returned in 73, went to the MOB in Altus OK., retired there in 73, and returned to San Bernardino.
I have lived here ever since.
There are very few of the old guys in the area, and since Norton closed down a while back, no gets together.
The town has really turned into a shithole, and not a bit like it was back in the 60 s.
Talke to you later

Re: Hi there

Hi All,

I was at Norton from mid- '66 thru early '68, then shipped out to Goose Bay, Labrador.  I was in Radar Maintenance but I went with you cable splicers to Paine Field, WA to upgrade the runway for the 747.  There's gotta be some of you who I will remember (or vice versa).  I think a photo of me will show up with this (from 1969) so say hello if you recognize it.
